If your HMRC account is managed by a tax agent (e.g. an accountant), you can still connect it to Konfir. Simply log in to your Government Gateway account yourself, rather than having your tax agent log in for you.
Connecting to Konfir should not remove the access of your tax agent. You can check this yourself when you are logged in under ‘Manage tax agents’.
If you see an error message saying "This page can only be accessed by your client", it means you have logged in with the login details of your tax agent. To resolve this, please try logging in with your own details. If you’re unable to do this, consider connecting bank or payroll data instead.
