Summary

To exercise your UK GDPR rights - including access, correction, deletion, or restriction - submit a request to Konfir by email. Here's exactly what to include and what to expect.

Step-by-step

  1. Email [email protected] with the subject line "Data rights request"

  2. State your request type: access (DSAR), correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection

  3. Include your full name and the email address associated with your verification

  4. Include your verification ID if you have it - this is shown in the email you received from Konfir

  5. Verify your identity if asked - Konfir may request proof of ID before processing your request, to protect against unauthorised access

What happens next

Konfir will acknowledge your request and confirm who will handle it - Konfir, your verifier, or both. Requests are normally completed within one calendar month. If your request involves your verifier, Konfir will coordinate with them and keep you updated.

If you need your verifier's data

Konfir handles the data it processed directly. For data held by your verifier - including the final verification result they received - contact your verifier directly. They are the Data Controller for their copy of the data and are responsible for responding to requests about it.
