Which bank account can I / should I connect?

Connect every supported account that received relevant income for the period being checked - as long as you still have access to it.

Summary

Konfir supports all major UK banks through Open Banking. To verify your employment or income, connect all accounts that received relevant income for the period your verifier is checking, provided you still have access to them.

  • Include accounts where your salary, freelance income, or other relevant income was deposited during that period

  • Skip accounts that are no longer active - closed accounts can't be connected

  • Skip accounts that didn't receive relevant income during the period being checked

For most people this is their main current account. But if income is spread across multiple accounts, connect all of them.

ℹ️ Note: Joint, business and savings accounts are supported, but coverage may vary by bank. For joint accounts, the other account holder may need to approve access via their bank.


FAQs

I received income into multiple accounts

If you’ve been paid into more than one account, connect all relevant ones so your verification is as complete as possible. You can add accounts from different banks in the same verification.

I closed my previous bank account

If you no longer have access, you won’t be able to connect it. If you have a new bank account, connect it if it contains relevant income to the period being checked.
