What will my verifier see?

See what your verifier receives - a clear, factual summary of your employment or income, never anything more.

Summary

Your verifier receives a structured verification result: a factual summary of what Konfir confirmed from the sources you connected. Here's a mock example:

What's Included

Verification Type

What’s Included

Employment verification

  • Employer name

  • Start and end dates

  • Job title (if available)

  • Any detected gaps or undeclared employments

Income verification

  • Annual Gross income

  • Latest pay date

  • Affordability metrics

Employment & income

  • All of the above

For all verifications, the result also includes:

  • Data Sources - The data sources you connected (e.g. HMRC, Open Banking)

  • Gaps - Any periods where no employment or income data was found

  • Identifiers - Your name, National Insurance number, and contact details (as provided to identify you in official records)

  • Metadata - A verification ID and timestamp

  • Documents - If you were asked to upload an document, Konfir runs fraud checks before making the document available to your verifier to view

What’s Not Included

Your verifier does not receive:

  • Your bank login credentials, HMRC password, or any security details

  • Ongoing or "live" access to your accounts - connections are one-time and read-only

  • Your full bank statement or transaction history

  • Spending habits, outgoings, or personal transactions

  • Qualitative information - character assessments, performance, reason for leaving, or anything a referee would write

  • Any information from sources you didn't connect

ℹ️ Note: Konfir is not a reference service. It provides evidence-backed employment and income data. If your verifier needs a character reference or a reason-for-leaving statement, they'll need to contact your employer separately - that's outside what Konfir does.
