You stay in control of your data when using Konfir. Once you submit your verification, all data connections are automatically terminated, meaning there's is no ongoing connection. You can also request the deletion of the data used during your verification at any time.

Right of Access – ask for a copy of the personal data Konfir holds about you.
Right of Erasure – ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you.

How to make a request
Making a request is simple:
Email us at [email protected] with your request.
Include your details – your full name, and if you have it, your Verification ID (this helps us find your record quickly).
We act – Konfir will process your request within 30 days and confirm back to you.
How your request is handled
Konfir acts as a data processor, which means we manage the data we process for your verifier.
If your verifier (the organisation that asked you to verify) also stores your data, they remain the data controller and may need to act on their copy separately.
For deletion requests, we may confirm with your verifier before erasing data, since they decide the lawful basis for processing.
