Konfir is committed to prioritising your ability to control, manage and delete your data. During the Konfir verification process, you have complete control over what data is shared by selecting which sources to connect (Banking, HMRC, or Payroll), and once your verification is completed, Konfir’s access to your accounts is automatically terminated.
Understanding your rights
Under GDPR regulation, you have a number of rights regarding how your data is managed. A full summary of your rights have be found in the ICO’s online guide for individuals.
The most commonly exercised rights are:
Right of Erasure: Request the deletion of all data held on you
Right of Access: Request a copy of all the data held on you
Exercising your Rights
With Konfir, exercising any of your rights under GDPR is a simple process:
Send email request: Send your request to [email protected]
Await verifier confirmation: In most cases, your verifier acts as the ‘data controller’ under GDPR regulation, and we may need to confirm with them that your data can be deleted
Await request execution: We will aim to execute your request within 30 days
