Using Konfir is completely optional. If you’d prefer not to share your data with Konfir, that’s okay - your verifier can complete your check manually instead.

You’re always in control
You decide which sources to connect - Banking, HMRC, or Payroll - depending on what your verifier has enabled. If you don’t want to connect a particular source, you can skip it and continue with the others.
Konfir only accesses the data you’ve explicitly consented to share, once, through secure, read-only connections.
If you don’t want to use Konfir at all
If you’d rather not verify digitally, contact your verifier directly. They can cancel your Konfir verification and arrange a manual process such as reviewing payslips, P60s, or references.
These manual routes may take longer and often require sharing more personal data, but your verifier will guide you through them.
Once your verifier takes over, Konfir will no longer be involved in your process.
