When you complete a Konfir verification, we collect and share certain data with your verifier to verify your employment history and/or income.
The data we collect will depend on which sources you choose to connect and the scope of the verification, but can include the following:
🏦Banking: Transaction data to identify payments from employers
⚖️ HMRC: Income Tax record data to identify employers that have paid you
🗂️ Payroll: Payroll records that confirm your employment history
When collecting this data, we adhere to GDPR principles, including data minimisation, which means we only process information that is required to complete your verification. Konfir does not collect any unnecessary data or maintain ongoing access to your accounts after the data has been retrieved.
