Summary

Creating your own Konfir verification takes a few minutes. You'll need access to at least one of your data sources - banking, HMRC, or payroll - and the email address of whoever you want to send the result to.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to the Employer Directory - find the organisation you worked for

  2. Enter your details - name, contact information, and the type of verification needed (employment, income, or both)

  3. Choose how to share the result:

    1. Send to someone - enter their email address and Konfir will deliver the result directly to them

    2. Send to myself - you'll receive a PDF by email, which you can forward or share yourself

  4. Give consent to Konfir accessing your data

  5. Connect your data sources - banking, HMRC, payroll, or a combination. You don't need to connect all of them

  6. Submit - Konfir processes your verification and delivers the result immediately

What happens next

If you chose Send to someone, your recipient will receive an email with a secure link to view your verification result. If you chose Send to me, you'll receive a PDF by email. See What will my recipient receive? for more detail on what the result contains.
