Konfir can verify your employment with payroll data in seconds. There’s no payroll login required, and your employer / previous employer is not notified. This connection uses a secure API connection that links directly to your employer’s payroll provider.
Step-by-step
Provide consent - Allow Konfir to access your payroll record(s).
Confirm details - You may be asked to confirm your NI number and/or home address so that your record can be identified.
Wait for completion - Konfir views your payroll records(s) if they are available
That’s it! If your payroll records were available, they have now been added to your verification. You may now proceed to complete the rest of your verification journey
If it won’t load or seems slow
If you're stuck, this usually means there’s an issue accessing your payroll record. Either:
Konfir was unable to locate your record with the details provided
Your employer/payroll provider has opted out of data sharing
What Now? You can retry, or skip Payroll and continue with HMRC/Banking; you can still submit your verification with just one data source connected, and this is typically sufficient to verify successfully.
