I need more time or my link has expired - what should I do?

If your Konfir link expires or you need more time, ask your verifier - they can extend or resend your verification link.

Summary

Konfir links normally stay active for 7 days. You can close and reopen your original link and continue at any time during this period.

💡 Good to know - You might receive automatic reminders to complete your verification. These don’t shorten your time; they’re just gentle prompts to finish.

If yours expires or you need more time, simply contact your verifier - they can extend your deadline or send you a new link.

If your link has expired

Only your verifier can reactivate or reissue a link - Konfir can’t do this directly.
Once you receive a new link, you can complete your verification as normal.

If you’re short on time

You can still submit with whichever sources you can connect (e.g. Banking or HMRC). Your verifier will review partial results and follow up if they need anything else.
