Summary

Your Konfir verification provides a data-backed summary of your employment and/or income. Within it, you’ll see:

  • ‍Identification - We’ll verify your name and National Insurance Number using the data sources you connected. These are also called Verified Identity Attributes and allow the recipient to know it’s really you

  • Verification Status

    • Verified - fully matched with source data (HMRC, payroll, or banking).

    • Not Connected - no data was retrieved from any source for that activity.

  • Employer name — cleaned/standardised for consistency.

  • Employment dates — start and end (or payment dates if only banking is used).

  • Job title — where available from HMRC or payroll.

  • Data Sources Used — which source confirmed the data (HMRC, Bank, Payroll).

Authenticity & viewing

  • Best viewed via the official verification link (ensures freshness and integrity).

  • If you or your recipient received a PDF, it was generated directly by Konfir; if they want to double-check, they can contact Konfir to confirm authenticity.
