Summary
You don’t need to remove anything - Konfir uses one-time, read-only connections, which close automatically as soon as your data is retrieved.
How access works
Konfir’s connections are instant and temporary - once your verification is complete, all access ends automatically. Your login details are never seen or stored by Konfir. Nothing stays connected in the background - there’s no ongoing access to your accounts.
How to review permissions yourself
You can confirm this directly within your accounts:
Banking: Log in to your bank app or online banking and check “Connected apps” or “Open Banking permissions.”
HMRC: Log in to your Government Gateway account and review “Connected applications” or “Authorised organisations.”
If you chose to store your data
If you opted to keep your data for future verifications, you can contact Konfir at any time to remove it permanently.
