Summary

You can’t edit the information shown in your Konfir verification. If something looks wrong (e.g., employer name or dates), tell your verifier - they can correct it and send an updated verification link to you, or may ask that you complete it as-is.

Common Issues

  • Wrong employer name or job dates

  • A role (or a gap) wasn’t declared initially

What to do

  1. Tell your verifier (by email, phone or chat) about the discrepancy so they have the context they need, and ask they how they want to proceed.

  2. Await their instruction

    1. Your verifier may cancel and re-submit a new request for you. This will mean you'll get a new Konfir link to complete with the right details.

    2. Your verifier may deem the discrepancy to not be significant, in which case they'll ask that you complete and submit your verification as normal - your verifier will still receive the correct data Konfir retrieves from sources.

💭 Remember: there’s no “pass/fail” with Konfir. If something doesn’t match perfectly, your verifier may just ask for clarification or extra evidence.
