Summary
Once you submit your verification, it is locked and can’t be changed. You can't edit the information, connect additional data sources, or change this specific verification result. If something went wrong, your verifier will need to send you a new verification request.
ℹ️ Why verifications are 'locked': Allowing edits to verifications after submission would mean the result your verifier saw could differ from the one you later changed - that would undermine the integrity of the verification.
What to do
If you've already submitted but realise you connected the wrong account, missed a data source, or made an error you wish to rectify:
Contact your verifier and explain what happened.
Ask them to send a new request. They can issue a fresh verification link, and you'll have 7 days to complete it from scratch.
ℹ️ Note: Konfir doesn't give applicants the ability to create or re-trigger their own check (unless you're using Verify Yourself, in which case you can start a new one yourself from Konfir's Employer Directory).
