Summary

Konfir supports all major UK banks through Open Banking. To verify your employment or income, connect the account(s) that show the salary or income payments relevant to the period you’re verifying.

You can connect more than one account if your income has been paid into multiple places (for example, if you’ve switched banks recently).

Supported bank providers

Konfir supports almost every major high street and digital bank - covering over 99% of UK customers. You’ll see the full list of supported banks when prompted to connect during your Konfir journey.

If your bank isn’t shown, see What should I do if my bank isn’t supported?

Account Types

Supported

Not Supported

Personal Accounts

Credit card accounts

Joint Accounts*

Savings-only accounts

Business Accounts**

Overseas (non-UK) accounts

* Joint accounts - You can connect a joint account if your name appears on it and your salary is paid into it. The other account holder may need to approve access via their bank.

** Business accounts - Supported if used to receive self-employed or limited-company income.

Good to know

Income evidence matters

The account must show income or salary deposits; accounts without this can’t be used for verification.

Multiple accounts

If you’ve been paid into more than one account, connect all relevant ones so your verification is as complete as possible.

UK accounts only

Konfir can only connect to banks regulated under the UK Open Banking framework.
