I can’t find or select my bank

If your bank isn’t listed, skip Banking and connect HMRC or Payroll instead - Konfir currently supports UK bank accounts only.

Summary

If your bank doesn’t appear in the list, it’s usually because it isn’t supported in Konfir or the account is outside the UK.


Don’t worry - you can still complete your verification by skipping the Banking step and connecting HMRC and/or Payroll instead.


What to do now

  1. Search carefully: Try your bank’s full name (for example, “HSBC UK” instead of “HSBC”).

  2. If it’s still not listed: Tap “Can’t find my bank” to skip the Banking connection.

  3. Connect another source: Use HMRC or Payroll, then submit your verification.

  4. Submit: Your verifier will review your results and contact you if any follow-up is needed.

Note: Overseas Accounts
Konfir currently supports UK bank accounts only. If your account is non-UK, skip Banking and complete your verification using HMRC or Payroll.

Konfir can verify UK employment only - if you need to verify overseas work, contact your verifier for alternative methods.
