I don’t have online banking

The quickest option is to skip bank and connect other sources. You can also set up online banking first if you'd prefer to include bank data.

Summary

If you don't have online banking set up, you have two options.

Option 1: Skip & connect other sources (quickest)

You don't have to connect your bank account. Skip it and connect whichever other sources are available to you - HMRC and payroll can both independently confirm employment and income. Submit with what you have and your verifier will review it.

Option 2: Set up online banking

The more sources you connect, the better the chance Konfir can verify the full period being checked. If you want to maximise that, you'll need to register for online banking with your bank before connecting to Konfir.

Be aware that this process varies by bank and can take time - some banks send confirmation codes by post, require a phone call, or need in-branch activation. It's not always quick.

If you do want to go this route: go to your bank's website, find their online banking registration page, and follow their process. Once you can log in on your bank's site, return to Konfir and connect.

💡 Tip: If you're working to a deadline, skipping bank and using other sources is the faster path. You can always ask your verifier whether they need additional evidence afterwards.
