Summary
If your verification link isn't working, there are a few common causes - most are quick to resolve. Check these first:
Has the link expired?
Verification links are valid for 7 days. If yours has expired, you'll need your verifier to resend it or extend the deadline. See: My verification link has expired
Try a different browser or device
Occasionally a browser extension or security setting blocks the redirect. Try opening the link in a different browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox) or on a different device.
Disable any VPN or content filtering
Corporate VPNs or network filters can block verification redirects. If you're on a work network, try using a personal device or mobile data instead.
Clear your browser cache
A cached page can sometimes cause redirect issues. Clear your cookies and cache for the browser you're using, then try the link again.
If none of these work
If you've tried the above and the link still won't open, contact your verifier. They can resend the link or provide an alternative way to access it.
ℹ️ Note: Konfir can't resend links - only your verifier can. If you're unsure who your verifier is, check the original email or any communications about the process you're part of (a job application, tenancy, or mortgage, for example).
